GTA 6 is about five weeks away. Dates and plans can still move, so this is accurate as of Oct 16 2026.

Confirmed

Release date (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nov 19 2026). Rockstar delayed it twice, first to May 26 2026 and then to this date. Take-Two repeated the November date on its February earnings call.

What it is (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nov 19 2026). Rockstar calls it a single player experience following Jason and Lucia, set in Leonida and a modern-day Vice City. I couldn’t find an announced online mode.

Pre-orders and price (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, live since late June). The standard edition is $79.99 on the Rockstar Store and ₹5,999 on the Indian PlayStation Store. The Ultimate Edition is $99.99, listed at ₹7,499 in India. Every pre-order gets the Vintage Vice City Pack, and digital pre-orders include a free month of GTA+.

Pre-load (digital, Nov 12). Physical copies also go on sale Nov 12, but the box only holds a download code, not a disc.

Age rating (Oct 1). The ESRB rated it Mature 17+ and European stores list it as PEGI 18.

Collector’s box (Nov 19). The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection is a limited set listed at $399.99 on the Rockstar Store. The game is sold separately.

An Extended Look (Aug 27). Rockstar premiered it on Netflix, then put it on YouTube. It’s all in-game footage captured on PS5.

Not confirmed

PC version (TBA). Rockstar has only announced PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

A note for a computer from 2017

My computer from 2017 can’t run new games, and GTA 6 isn’t on PC at launch anyway. I’ll stay in the old Vice City and see what happens with a PC version.
